Noyer
Noyer is a Danish design company specializing in handmade quality products crafted from walnut wood. Product development and production take place at the workshop in Copenhagen, offering a catalogue ranging from beautiful knife racks to impressive conference tables.
Walnut as material
The walnut tree is at the heart of it all, hence it has given its name to the company. 'Noyer' means walnut in French [no-yeah]. The wood type is chosen because it's magnificant to work with, beautiful to behold, and can achieve an extremely high finish.
Design aesthetic
Our products are characterized by sharp edges and soft angles, achieved by stretching them until they have the perfect expression. This expression is combined with an understanding of the importance of functionality. The result is both visually pleasing and easy to use. Our production process is developed to make each expression unique - yet still in line with our overall design aesthetic. This allows us to promise our customers a product that is exclusively theirs. A quality that we take great pride in.
Meet the people behind Noyer
Janus
Janus Larsen is the founder of Noyer and he is the CEO. Janus, is a trained carpenter, and he is the engine of Noyer. He is responsible for design, management and everything else.
Pelle
Pelle Larsen has been with Noyer since 2016. Pelle is a trained journalist and school teacher, and he was a professional handball player for many years. Pelle is in charge of sales and communication.
Nikolaj
Nikolaj Hviid has been with Noyer from the start. Nikolaj is a trained carpenter, and at Noyer he is a designer and he is responsible for the production.
Emil
Emil Vedel is a trained furniture maker from March 2023. Emil has completed his entire education in Noyer, and he is a driving force in production. Emil is responsible for production and social media.
Viggo
Viggo Elmose Eriksen is training to become a furniture maker, and he has been in Noyer since 2022. Viggo is part of the production, where he also contributes with his enormous general knowledge and pop-cultural references.
