Noyer’s design philosophy and production process
At Noyer, our design philosophy centers around sharp yet soft angles that create a balance between aesthetics and functionality. Each product is developed with a 1:1 ratio between practical usability and visual expression. This has resulted in a range of unique furniture names, including "JN10" and "JN14", referring to the involved designers, Janus and Nikolaj.
Handmade quality and uniqueness
All our products are handmade in our workshop in Valby, ensuring that each and every shelf is unique. We use exclusively walnut wood because of its ability to achieve an extremely high finish and its unique grain structure. This means no two products are identical, setting our shelves apart from mass-produced alternatives. Our core principles of functionality, durability, beauty, uniqueness, as well as play and creativity, permeate everything we create.
Our team
Behind Noyer stands a dedicated team led by Janus Larsen, a trained carpenter and the driving force of the company. Together with Nikolaj Hviid, responsible for design and production, and the rest of the team, including Pelle Larsen, Emil Vedel, and Viggo Elmose Eriksen, we work to deliver furniture that not only meets your practical needs but also your aesthetic demands.
