Footstool JN15 – footstool in solid walnut and leather
Footstool JN15 is designed as a simple and functional piece of furniture where materials, proportions and fine craftsmanship take centre stage. The solid walnut gives the footstool a warm and natural expression, while the leather adds a soft contrast and makes it comfortable to use as a footrest.
The footstool is made in our workshop in Copenhagen with careful attention to the details that make a difference. The natural grain of the wood means that every piece has its own unique character and only becomes more beautiful with time.
Footstool in wood and leather
The combination of solid walnut and leather is central to JN15. The construction is simple and light in appearance, yet designed for everyday use. As a wooden footstool, JN15 fits naturally into the living room next to an armchair, but it can also be used as a small stool when an extra seat is needed.
The texture of the leather complements the warm tones of the walnut and gives the piece a distinct sense of materiality. Choosing the model with black leather creates a footstool with black leather where the contrast between the dark seat and the walnut gives it a more distinctive and classic expression. JN15 can also be ordered with Re-wool in a colour of your choice, allowing the footstool to be customised to match the upholstery of our other lounge chairs.
