Wood oil – care for cutting boards, tables and furniture

Wood is a natural material that changes with use and over time. When the surface of a cutting board, table or piece of furniture begins to look dry, dull or less saturated, treating it with wood oil can help refresh its appearance.

Noyer wood oil is suitable for cutting boards, tables and other products made from solid wood. The oil penetrates the surface and enhances the wood’s warm colour and natural grain pattern, restoring depth and richness to the material. There is no need to oil the wood at fixed intervals. Instead, simply use the oil whenever the surface needs refreshing.

Oil for cutting boards

A cutting board is naturally exposed to water, food and everyday use. Over time, the surface may therefore begin to look slightly drier or duller. Cutting board oil can be used to refresh the wood and preserve its natural appearance.

Noyer oil can be used as wood oil for cutting boards and is a simple choice for caring for cutting boards made from solid wood. The treatment does not change the character of the wood, but helps enhance the natural glow and depth already present in the material.

Wood oil for tables and furniture

The oil can also be used as wood oil for tables and furniture. If the surface of a table or another piece of furniture becomes dry or dull over time, a fresh treatment can give the wood a richer and more refreshed appearance. Solid wood furniture naturally develops more character through use, so oiling is not part of a fixed maintenance routine, but something you can do whenever the need arises.

How to use wood oil

Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying the oil. Spread an even layer of oil across the wood, allow it to penetrate, and then remove any excess oil with a clean cloth. Allow the product to dry thoroughly before using it again. When the wood begins to look dry, dull, lighter or less saturated, it may be time for another treatment.
