Visiting the Noyer Copenhagen Showroom: Solid Walnut Craftsmanship up Close

Besøg Noyer Showroom – Oplev Ægte Dansk Design i Valnøddetræ

A photograph can display the geometric outline of a table, but it cannot show how solid American walnut absorbs light or feels under your hand. Wood is tactile. Its surface grain, oil treatment, and edge profiles are best understood in person, where you can inspect the joinery and assess proportions at full scale.

At our Copenhagen showroom in Valby, we present our furniture alongside the workshop where each piece is built. Here, you can examine our handcrafted designs, understand how we work with natural timber, and discuss specific dimensions for your home.

A Workshop and Showroom Under One Roof

Our space is located at Trekronergade 100 in Valby, Copenhagen. Unlike a standard retail floor, our showroom sits alongside our active woodworking workshop. Stepping inside means entering the environment where our furniture is crafted, assembled, and finished with oil.

Because the showroom is part of the workshop, you have the opportunity to speak directly with the craftspeople and designers who construct the pieces. Whether you are curious about the natural variation in American walnut (Juglans nigra) or want to know how our signature 45-degree bevelled angles are executed across different tabletop shapes, our team can show you the work behind the finish.

Assessing Proportions, Grain, and Custom Options

Choosing handmade furniture often involves practical decisions about room layout, seating clearance, and material balance. Visiting the showroom allows you to make clear, informed comparisons:

  • Tactile finish and oil treatment: Touch the hand-finished surfaces to see how oil treatment highlights the wood grain and natural texture.
  • Faceted geometries: Examine how our opposing 45-degree edge profiles define the table perimeter and catch the light from different angles.
  • Bespoke dimensions: Because our dining tables are built to order, an in-person visit is an ideal starting point to discuss custom lengths and widths tailored to your floor plan.

Planning Your Visit

We welcome private homeowners, architects, and interior designers who want to see our collection up close. The showroom is open on weekdays, with weekend consultations arranged by request:

  • Monday to Friday: 10:00 – 16:00
  • Saturday: By appointment

Our floor display changes as pieces move through production and dispatch. If you are travelling to inspect a specific design—such as an octagonal dining table, a lounge chair, or wall shelving—we encourage you to reach out ahead of time. That way, we can confirm whether the exact design is currently assembled and ready to view.
